Drawing from Eastern and Western aesthetic, philosophical, musical, and esoteric traditions, Degen imbues his work with a metaphysical aura that visually articulates humanity’s inextricable connection to the earth. This work references both terrestrial and celestial realms and contemplates humanity’s place within them.
